Eliminator is the eighth studio album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 1983. It was the band's most successful album, having reached Diamond status. The album is a successful blend of blues rock and analog synthesizers. In 1989, it was ranked #39 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the The 100 Greatest Albums of the 80s. In 2003, the album was ranked number 396 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
