For an album titled Ambition, not much shines except Wale’s love for the ladies. There are a couple of stand out tracks [the title track, Hold Your Applause], but the project suffers because the artist pandered to a select demographic. I understand that his biggest radio hit was a love song but that didn’t mean to repeat the formula all over the album. Dudes listen to music too.
