tan bueno como el debut pero un poco menos instantáneo (y por eso no un 5/5)
Not as good as their self-titled. Still really good though! Some of their songs have veered towards mainstream pop. Especially with the use of the vox-box. This album isn’t as guitar heavy as the last. Really only “Holiday” and “Cousins,” which are the two singles, have some good usage of guitar licks. Very dreamy sound throughout the album. One thing that popped into my head while listening to this album: this is modern day lover’s rock. Dreamy, african beats, (almost) reggae vocals. Even the synths provide rhythms in a 80s reggae way.
If you liked their self-titled definitely give this one a listen! Biggest downside was there’s a lot less rock to it.
