Head First is the 15th studio album by Uriah Heep, recorded and released in 1983. It followed the path of the band's previous album, Abominog, and focused on the combination of NWOBHM and AOR, spiced up with some catchy pop-rock melodies. If failed, however, to repeat the commercial success of its predecessor, largely due to the fact, that it lacked any promotion from the record company, Bronze Records, which went into liquidation only a month after the album's release.
