I own a lot of random solo albums by musicians from famous bands. This forgotten effort from Tommy Lee (Motley Crue, spousal abuse, etc) should’ve been god awful. Strangely enough, the guy can write songs, can play a few chords and has a passable, limited voice that doesn’t grate on the ear. It’s first half is pretty uneven, mostly some techno influenced rock with hints of..cringe…rap. But this review goes to the oddly pleasant 2nd half, which boasts some very decent, straight ahead hard rock and some above average lyrics. Who knew?
