A Northern Soul is the second studio album by British alternative rock band The Verve, released on 3 July 1995 through Hut Records. Produced by Owen Morris, who later worked with Oasis on (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, the album marked a shift towards a heavier, more emotionally intense sound compared to the band’s psychedelic debut A Storm in Heaven.
