The groups 27th studio album released on 26th April 2010. The double vinyl version features two exclusive tracks, "986 Generator" and "Get a Summer Song Goin'". It also features a re-ordered track list compared to the CD version. The Falls only release on the Domino label many of the lyrics are thought to be about Mark E Smiths mortality and him reflecting upon his and the groups legacy as around the recording of this album was when he faced his first cancer diagnosis. Famously described by John Peel as being "always different, always the same", The Fall was formed in Manchester, England in 1976 during the Punk era although their style quickly evolved into something more idiosyncratic.
The one permanent fixture amidst the Fall's ever-changing line-up was Mark E. Smith (1957 – 2018). Smith's lyrics are free, unboxed and unpredictable, touching on an extremely wide range of subjects and places, and caring little for being tied down to easily digestible messages.
