Being a huge fan of 60’s pop and the music of The Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach and Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, this is right up my alley.
From Charleston, SC, The Explorers, blend all of the above elements into a surprisingly relevant and modern experience. The songs are well-written, short and cover many genres. From pop, to bossa nova and beach music, the songs are short, sweet and to the point.
Another remarkable aspect of this record is how the recording sounds vintage. The Explorers Club took a lot of time to get the tones, vibe and sound right.
