I suppose I can stop looking for any recording to affect me in the way Songs In the Key Life did. AS a 15 year old kid who cut lawns to make money to buy music, the 8 track was my prized possession. The songs,Sir Duke, I Wish, Knocks Me Off My Feet, As, Another Star, Ebony Eyes, Love’s In Need of Love Today the list can go on.These songs put Stevie, who was already at the top of the game, in another universe. You don’t realize as a kid how the good stuff will stay with you for a lifetime. I would put Songs In The Key Of Life among the greatest music of any kind ever recorded. Stevie Wonder is a musical genius. Songs In the Key Of Life is his master work.
