Eivets Rednow is an instrumental album released by Stevie Wonder under the pseudonym Eivets Rednow on the Gordy (Motown) label. This was Wonder's ninth studio album, released on November 20th, 1968. The album was released almost in secret. Because of Motown establishing Wonder as a soul-pop shouter, the label agreed to release the album with Wonder's name backwards. This would be copied by other musicians over the years. Wonder only plays harmonica, drums, and clavinet on this album and doesn't sing on any of the tracks.
