4th LP, released in 1970 (EPIC 30267), considered as Spirit's finest work, although there was considerable friction between Randy CALIFORNIA and Jay FERGUSON at this period and it follows a more commercial rock approach. It contains a number of finely-structured rock songs like Nature's Way, Animal Zoo, Mr. Skin and Morning Will Come. There are also less structured but more ambitious numbers, such as When I Touch You and Life Has Just Begun, together with a jazzy instrumental, Space Child.
