Distorted Lullabies is the band Ours' first official album. Released on the Dreamworks label on May 15, 2001, it is largely composed of melodic rock songs. Ours' major label debut, Distorted Lullabies, included Sometimes, which stayed on the Billboard Top 100 for five weeks, peaking at #31. Sometimes enjoyed some mainstream alternative radio play, while the video attained moderate MTV presence. The album was produced by Steve Lillywhite, Mark Endert, Mike Marri, and James Bray, with band founder Jimmy Gnecco playing many of the instruments himself.
