Purists always pick Nevermind as Nirvanas crown jewel. I’m more apt to say In Utero. But. Even then, as far as impact goes, Unplugged is such a proper representation of Kurt’s songwriting quirks that it ranks as my most listened to of theirs. It downgrades the loudness and instead pursues the softer presentations of a band built on three chords. Good stuff.
