With all due respect to Nile not giving in to the whole ‘wank fest’ that is technical death metal right now, ‘At the Gate of Sethu’ just doesn’t feel right. Maybe it’s because of the song structure, maybe it’s because you can hardly hear any bass at all (?), or maybe it’s because their 2009 effort was so great.
For whatever reason: meh.
