When I was a middle schooler, Mxpx became a fave right along with Blink 182, Green Day, Operation Ivy, Minor Threat and Rancid. It was that whole skater punk scene except I never skated. Let It Happen was a huge, 32 song record of new stuff, unreleased material and b sides. I really enjoyed the length and still, to this day, hum “Swing Set Girl” randomly. If you’ve never heard Mxpx, it’s total pop punk and its still rad to me after ten years.
