This record is kin to many that don’t stand out to me, but it somehow manages to hit all the right notes. The band kind of sound like fans of Explosions in the Sky, Santo & Johnny, and The Cure. It’s not too bright and not too languid. The cover really nails the record’s vibe: faded but vibrant. It’s a dream of a little pop record.
