LPD is great band who somehow found the intersection for Nomeansno, Neurosis, and effects-laden shoegaze, and backed it up with a lot of brains to match the power. Most of the album is very cohesive, despite the almost ridiculous amount to change-ups and time signatures, and stays catchy throughout. They have changed their lineup and name to Palaces, by the way. Look them up. They continue to challenge the listener in a great way.
