Força Bruta is the seventh studio album by Brazilian musician Jorge Ben, released in September 1970, via Philips Records. It was recorded with the band Trio Mocotó, during the Brazilian military dictatorship. The album introduced acoustic samba-based music that was softer, darker, and less ornate than the singer's previous work. His largely unrehearsed late-night recording session saw the singer improvise alongside Trio Mocotó while experimenting with unconventional rhythmic arrangements, musical techniques and elements of soul, funk and rock.
