Valley of Smoke is everything I could have hoped for out of Intronaut. It’s driving, relentless, and just the right amount of complex. Danny Walker (the drummer) is a superstar on this album. After touring with Mastodon last year, I hope these guys stick around, because they are the new Isis. Tool’s Justin Chancellor is a guest on this album, which may have caused me to like it by osmosis. Did I mention they’re the new Isis?
