Further Explorations by the Horace Silver Quintet is an album by jazz pianist Horace Silver recorded on January 13, 1958 at Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack and released on the Blue Note label in early May 1958. The Album is featuring performances by Silver with Art Farmer, Clifford Jordan, Teddy Kotick, and Louis Hayes. The song "Safari" had been issued by Blue Note, as Silver's first single, in 1952 and was re-issued as a single to coincide with the release of the album.
