Straits most personal album is rich in detail, covering the eternal questions of death (“You’ll Be There), the joys of Spanish exile (“Seashores Of Old Mexico”) and even golfs relation to sex (“Oh, What A Perfect Day”). It’s not the usual set. Straits interest here was obviously to go a little deeper. He managed an album that stands out from the pack quite easily.
