God Almighty….how and why did this album even get reviewed?
Look, I have an obsession with buying albums that either no one liked, no ones heard of or nobody bought. It’s a freakish habit, really. And yeah….I really do listen to this stuff when I buy it….its like watching a car wreck.
The problem here was, I expected this album to blow hard, to just be absolute chemical waste. It turns out, I have to give The God Of Thunder SOME (don’t worry…its not that good) props. I debated on 2 or 3 stars…but honestly…it just isn’t that bad.
Some of it sounds like KISS. Some of it sounds like shit. Some of its unintentionally funny and six tracks are actually pretty good. The dude actually CAN sing…and it turns out he can frame a melody pretty well too. Wonderful….grand. Either way, I’m sure I’ll never listen to it again. Why would I?
