Dream Evil is Dio's fourth album, released on July 21, 1987. Dream Evil features former Rough Cutt members Craig Goldy (spelled "Goldie" in the CD insert) and Claude Schnell. Its singles were "All The Fools Sailed Away" / "Overlove" and "I Could Have Been a Dreamer". Dream Evil was Dio's last album of the 1980s. By the time their next album was recorded in 1990, drummer Vinny Appice had left; he would be replaced by former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright.
