Nothing Is Wrong is the second studio album by American folk-rock band Dawes, released on June 7, 2011. It is the only Dawes album to feature keyboard player Alex Casnoff. Very rarely does a record come along that hits me instantly in the heart. From the very first line of the record, “These days my friends don’t seem to know me/ without a suitcase in my hand/ and when I’m standing still/ I seem to disappear,” “Nothing is Wrong” had me hooked. The whole record continues on this path, with singer Taylor Goldsmith clearly and honestly illustrating the emotional instability of someone who chooses a path devoted to art.
