  1. gives it a: 4/5

This record has been canonized to the extreme, by the extreme, and for good reason; however, the purists would never admit that Axe To Fall is actually what Converge is capable of sounding like. All that to say, what makes this record important is that it sounded unlike anything before it, and bands have been emulating it in droves ever since. If you like heavy music, at least one band you know and love owes its life to the Converge found therein.

  2. gives it a: 5/5

This record makes you feel like going to war (in a good way). If you can appreciate chaos in any facet of life, and haven’t heard this record, you’re not living to your full potential.

  3. gives it a: 5/5

No doubt about the power, passion, forcefulness and inspiration you get when Converge is on. This album gets all the energy of the band and the production is awesome, Guitars, drums and vocals right to your guts.
