"Tones for Joan's Bones" is the debut album by American jazz pianist Chick Corea. It features four long tracks and was originally released in 1968 on Vortex Records. The album is rare in its original form, and is more commonly found in compilation with Miroslav Vitouš' album Mountain in the Clouds. Two tracks, "Tones for Joan's Bones" and "This Is New", were included on the Atlantic compilation Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, McCoy Tyner.
