Now He Sings, Now He Sobs is the second album by Chick Corea, released in 1968 via Solid State Records. It features Corea in a trio with bassist Miroslav Vitouš and drummer Roy Haynes. In 2002 it was reissued on CD by Blue Note with eight bonus tracks recorded at the same sessions. In 1999, the single "Now He Sings, Now He Sobs" was given the Grammy Hall of Fame Award. Chick Corea (born Armando Anthony Corea in Chelsea, Massachusetts, USA, on June 12, 1941, died February 9, 2021) was an American jazz pianist/electric keyboardist and composer. His compositions "Spain", "500 Miles High", "La Fiesta" and "Windows", are considered jazz standards. As a member of Miles Davis' band in the late 1960s, he participated in the birth of jazz fusion.
