To say this record was a vast improvement in comparison to the last would be a grievous understatement. This is the record where Black Veil Brides grew a pair and proven they have what it takes to be one of the most prolific make up clad rock bands of the 21st century. Andy’s vocals have vast improvement, the blistering duel guitar solos make you want to jam along, and the lyrical content is a lot more mainstream, well structured, and relatable without random breakdowns to accompany the fact they don’t know how to write a bridge(no offense). My only complaint with this record is that the guitar solo to The Legacy sounds a lot like an old Killswitch Engage solo. But other than that, it’s a pretty stellar record that not only takes you back to the days of the Sunset Strip, but also shows that Black Veil Brides have enough talent to show up the haters. It’s a blend of Avenged Sevenfold and Motley Crue and it’s the definitive BVB record for sure.
