Stronger Than Death is the second studio album by Black Label Society, released on April 18, 2000. The album marked a shift towards an even heavier sound compared to their debut, Sonic Brew (1999), with darker themes and a more aggressive approach. Recorded at Carriage House Studios in Stamford, Connecticut, the album was primarily the work of Zakk Wylde, who handled vocals, guitar, and bass, alongside drummer Phil Ondich. While rhythm guitarist Nick Catanese was credited, he did not participate in the recording process.
