Paper Empire, the sixth studio album by BTE, is a strong come back to Before The Robots. However, it handles different themes, such as being yourself, living every single day, countless regretful moments, moments of pure love, and getting stoned with your sister. Some songs are purely fun, such as "Hell No!" and "Nightclubbing." Others are more heartwrenching, like "Wounded" and "Hey Love." Better Than Ezra followed up pretty well, although Paper Empire failed to chart. McNabb was dropped before the recording of the record.
