Unquestionable Presence is the second album by the death metal band Atheist. It was released in 1991 and added a new sound by using jazz-like harmonies, subtle Latin rhythms and unusual time signatures. It is considered a landmark album in the genre of technical death metal. Read more on Last.fm.
Atheist is a death metal band from Florida, USA, founded in 1984 by vocalist/guitarist Kelly Shaefer, guitarist Rand Burkey, bassist Roger Patterson, and drummer Steve Flynn. The band is known for their technical playing style. Their album Unquestionable Presence (1991) is regarded as a landmark of the death metal genre. After dissolving in 1994, the band reformed in 2006.
