Citrus is the second studio album by New York-based band Asobi Seksu (Japanese slang for "casual sex"). It was released on May 30, 2006 through Friendly Fire recordings. 1. Asobi Seksu was a dream pop band which formed in 2004 in New York City, New York, United States. The band consisted of Yuki Chikudate (vocals, keyboards), James Hanna (guitar, vocals), Billy Pavone (bass) and Larry Gorman (drums). The band's name in Japanese consists of two words, "asobi" meaning "play" or "for fun", and "sekkusu" the Japanese transliterated word for "sex".
