Much more cohesive than his debut, Strange Clouds showcases Bob’s ability to tear up records. He does have records for every type of his fans: pop, hood, white, black, urban, suburban, etc. B.o.B. can and does bend genres successfully. On “Play for Keeps,” Bobby Ray eats a track up like his fans have known he can do for years.

Great album, I love B.o.B.’s style and that hasn’t changed with this release. Who else has Morgan Freeman, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj all on the same album and it turns out well? B.o.B’s flow is so energetic and aggressive, when he gets on a roll he just goes and goes and kills the track. The guest artist tracks were some of my favorite which is not normal for me. In particular “Out of My Mind” cracked me up with Nicki Minaj imitating Hayley William’s lines from Airplanes. I really appreciate rap albums which I can listen to from start to finish and B.o.B. is one of the few artists who can supply an album like that. This is a refreshing break from other mainstream rap, check it out.
