Destroyed is the tenth studio album by the musician Moby, with a release date of May 16, 2011. Moby announced the title, track listing and release date of the album on his website on February 15, 2011. A photography book of the same name will be released in conjunction with the album. The majority of the recording was done while Moby was touring. He'd stay up in his hotel room because of his insomnia and work on music at odd times of day such as two in the morning. Mobys zehntes Studioalbum ist eine eher meditative denn hitverdächtige Sammlung einzelner Tracks, die zwar gut zusammenpassen, sich aber eher unterschwellig in den Gehörgängen festsetzen. Die melancholischen, verträumten Klangbilder, die nur teilweise von Vokalparts ergänzt werden, wirken oft wie Neuauflagen oder reine Instrumentalversionen bereits bekannter Moby-Stücke, bieten also zwar wie von ihm gewohnt wunderbare elektronische Musik, aber wirkliche Neuheiten oder Überraschungen sucht man vergebens.
