Erica Mulkey or Unwoman, performs a unique blend of cello and vocal work work tinged with electronic manipulations. Her tracks frequently feature synth selections reminiscent of 80s era dark wave artists. Although difficult to really tie Unwoman down to a genre, most would say that she is best classified under the synth pop/darkwave/goth umbrella, with her haunting vocals and grungy electronic effects. The album was pretty good although not really my style too much.
