I’m a fan of the instrumental/progressive djent genre, but music can’t live between the passive (ambient) and the active. ‘All Roads Lead Here’ sits awkwardly, starting off strong, but failing to continue being interesting as time goes on. While there are certainly some exceptions and strong points later in the EP, it begins to feel generally uninspired. Nevertheless, the overall sound is good—and the album certainly never enters ‘bad’ territory. It’s worth a listen if you enjoy bands of Chimp Spanner’s ilk.
