Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1970. The group consists of Steven Tyler (lead vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass), Joey Kramer (drums) and Brad Whitford (guitar). Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock, has also incorporated elements of pop rock, heavy metal, glam metal, and rhythm and blues, and has inspired many subsequent rock artists. Box sets are typically an excuse to squeeze big bucks out of die hard fans. Neil Young’s Archives Volume 1 was a huge money suck and totally failed to deliver. U2 has re-released almost every album in their arsenal as a box set, an expensive box set at that. With Aerosmith’s 1991 Pandoras Box, however, its all gravy. You get b-sides, live cuts, unreleased songs, hits and remixes. It’s 3 discs chock full of Aerosmith. And, surprise, it goes for about eight bucks used on Amazon! Nothing to complain about there.
