This gets more ‘points’ for the concept than the actual execution, although it’s not bad at all. Based on the original “Dawn of the Dead”, ‘Zero Over Zero’ is a self-described “rhythm guitar album” that’s instrumental. I can dig. It’s interesting because it’s literally like listening to a decent prog-metal album without the vocals (instead of replacing them with general wankery)—maybe best described as a less-technical Cloudkicker.
