Helmet’s music is the musical equivalent of getting your head punched repeatedly for ten minutes….in a good way. Paige Hamilton was never big on guitar solos. Instead, he preferred to “beat the shit” out of listeners with pummeling piledriver riffs and an almost Henry Rollins esq vocal approach….except Hamilton can actually sing a little. It’s like REM for metalheads. Buy it.
