The Dirty Guv’nahs can best be imagined if Mick Jagger and his boys hopped in a time machine and came back as post-grad-looking rockers who don’t do as many drugs as their rolling counterparts did “back in the day”.

With an energetic live show that screams “Exile on Main Street,” these guys have developed quite a large following around the Southeast. This record is a culmination of their rising success. The opening tune could be heard at your local watering hole or as the walk-out music for Chipper Jones (Come on, man, Crazy Train is getting old). The record that follows is bright at times and dark at others. It is quick and upbeat, slow and “balladous”. Either way, I would highly recommend checking out this record.

If you like: American Aquarium, the Rolling Stones, The Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell, then you will dang sure like the Dirty Guv’nahs.
