The album was produced by producer Richard Perry. The singles released from the LP include "Gettin' Ready for Love", "You Got It", and "All Night Lover". The album peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200 and #7 R&B Albums chart. This album did not chart on the UK Albums Chart.
