The Big Bubble is an album by The Residents. It was released in 1985, and fleshed out the backstory of the band's "Mole Trilogy", which had been introduced in Mark of the Mole (1981) and The Tunes of Two Cities (1982). The official third part of the Mole Trilogy was never actually released, and neither were the projected fifth and sixth parts. The tour that accompanied the Mole storyline, documented in Intermission: Extraneous Music from the Residents' Mole Show (1983), was a financial disaster.
