An Answer Can Be Found (stylized as an Ånswer can be found) is the third studio album by American rock band CKY. Recorded at studios in California and New York City, it was produced by guitarist Chad I Ginsburg and released on June 28, 2005, by Island Records in North America and Mercury Records in Europe. The album reached number 35 on the US Billboard 200, the highest position achieved by the band to date. This is the record where CKY finally found their sound. An Answer Can Be Found carries over the torch from it’s IDR predecessor to deliver you an album filled with conscientious, lyrically driven songs that deal with all kinds of things we face in life as well as continuing to tackle the corruptness and unoriginality of the music industry. The only down side to this album is that a lot of the songs follow a similar structure. It’s hard to know when one ends and another begins if you aren’t paying close attention. Although this is the album where the band definitely found their sound and signature CKY guitar tone, they seemed to have almost put themselves into a box with it. However, redeemable and catchy, hooked driven songs such as The Way You Lived and Familiar Realm, along with the heavy ,hard hitting Sniped make up for that.
