This is a back catalog release that was released on CD in 1995. The tracks are from the 2 Vinyl album only releases of "Corrosion" (1988) and "Disorder" (1988). It is early industrial with a decidedly EBM sound, lacking harsh guitars or more serious industrial sound like you hear in their later releases, drums and beats are brought to the forefront in this album. Front Line Assembly is composed of Bill Leeb (vocals, synthesizers) and Rhys Fulber (synthesizers and samplers), one of many groups formed by the prolific Vancouver, Canada-based duo. After working in the mid-'80s under the pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder with Skinny Puppy, the Austrian-born Leeb formed the industrial/ebm-based Front Line Assembly in 1986 with Fulber -- who initially joined on as a studio assistant -- and synth player Michael Balch.
