Barry Lynn is Boxcutter (UK) and The Host.
Barry has been playing guitar since he was 15, inspired by Jimi Hendrix (still a big hero and major influence), he started producing on a computer aged 18 inspired by hiphop, dub and dance producers like DJ Shadow, Squarepusher, Four Tet and King Tubby, although also a fan of a diverse range of other music.
A big part of Barry's production has always been mixing up instruments with electronic elements and making stuff in as many styles as he can. Read more on Last.fm
