Realeased 1966, the first major label realease of Frank's group at the time and off and on through the 70's, The Mothers of Invention. Freak Out! was a ground breaking album in it's day. Nobody had ever heard or a rock band putting out a double album for their debut in 1966, not to mention the music was way ahead of it's time, lyrically and musically. The music ranges from 20th century classical to doo-wop farce.
