Vanity/Nemesis is a 1990 album by Celtic Frost. It can be seen as a return-to-form compared (or the mix of two eras) to the band's previous album, Cold Lake. The album also includes a cover of David Bowie's 1977 hit "Heroes", on the CD release. Unlike their first 3 albums before the Cold Lake era; this album shows the band heading in a more thrash metal sound instead of the trademark proto-black metal sound that was heard on the first 3 albums. Vanity/Nemesis would be Frost's last studio album before the dissolution of the band in 1993 and until their Read more on Last.fm.
