Superficial is the debut studio album by American television personality Heidi Montag. The project was released digitally on January 11, 2010 through Pratt Productions and Warner Music Group. Montag first began working on an album in 2007, having rose to fame through her appearances on the MTV television series The Hills. She enlisted a number of notable writers and producers for the project, hoping to achieve a quality record despite the backing of a major label.
