Blondie is the American rock band Blondie’s debut album. It was released on December 9, 1976 via Private Stock Records and was produced by Richard Gottehrer, who previously worked with the 60s girl group The Angels, and Craig Leon. The singles included “X Offender”, “In The Flesh” and “Rip Her To Shreds”. Blondie’s debut album was not as successful as the rest of the band’s albums, especially in the United States, and reached number 14 on Australian album charts and number 75 on UK album charts in 1979.
