Nirvana

Incesticide is a compilation album by the American grunge band Nirvana. It was released on December 14, 1992 in Europe, and December 15, 1992 in the U.S. The album debuted at 51 and eventually reached number 39 in the Billboard Top 200. It was released to capitalize on the runaway success of Nevermind in absence of a true follow-up LP that wouldn't come until September the following year. The band's new label DGC Records cut their indie label Sub Pop a fat check for rights to old material on the stipulation it'd be ready in time for Christmas. Cover art Read more on Last.fm.
